Soul City 4 Evaluation

Publication Date

September 15, 2000

Summary

Broadcast in 1999, the Soul City 4 television series highlighted the issue of violence against women in Southern Africa. It was bolstered by a daily radio drama, full-colour booklets, an advertising/publicity campaign, and an advocacy and social mobilisation campaign, in an effort to shift knowledge, attitudes and practices around gender-based violence (GBV) - and to encourage individuals and communities to take action to stop abuse.
