Avian and Pandemic Influenza Communication Resources


Summary

This online resource centre for pandemic avian influenza communication resources is a joint initiative of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), World Food Programme (WFP) and World Health Organization (WHO). The website provides access to communication products, tools and resources to help users access information on how to prevent, contain and respond to avian flu outbreaks.

Communication resources available as part of the resource centre include:
  • Creative products including posters, stickers, documentaries, audio and video public service announcements and press clippings;
  • Source materials including illustrations, logos and photos;
  • Planning/training documents including case examples, glossaries, research, monitoring, evaluation and communication strategies and plans;
  • Links to relevant organisational and news websites; and
  • Contacts which includes links to UNICEF national and regional communication contacts.
Resources are also accessible by country, language and audience.
