US National Healthcare Disparities ReportDateAugust 4 2006 The 3rd US National Healthcare Disparities Report provides a comprehensive national overview of disparities in health care among racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups in the general United States population and within priority populations. It also tracks the success of activities to reduce disparities. For sizable proportions of measures, minorities and the economically poor receive lower quality care: For racial minorities, all disparities in access to care that could be tracked are becoming smaller; for Hispanics and the economically poor, most disparities are becoming larger.
