This publication is part of a multi-media communication campaign that was designed as community based intervention strategy in response to the need to deal with the alarming rate of HIV/AIDS epidemic in Bida Emirate council of Niger state. This intervention was initiated after what the author's describes as the shocking revelation from baseline data that 83.3% of the population in the intervention area did not know anything about HIV/ AIDS pandemic 12 years after the first discovery of HIV/AIDS in Nigeria. Therefore, a multi-media campaign strategy was designed to educate and raise the level of awareness among the entire populace with the view to change their reproductive or sexual attitudes and practices.

The major highlights in various sections of the book include: AIDS Batan na ewu eza ena (AIDS is a Deadly Killer Disease), Egi Gan Ewo (Child is Greater than Money) and Yawo Ma (Marriage is Sweat).
