Summary

MFDI produces and distributes African dramatic social-message films (Edutainment or Enter-educate) for African audiences on issues such as AIDS, teenage sexuality, teenage pregnancy, womens' issues and general health. This 46-page catalogue lists approximately 100 titles that are distributed by MFDI. MFDI also offers several feature films in 35mm format that are available for rental. These titles include: Neria; Everyone's Child; More Time; and Yellow Card. Most videos are produced in an educational as well as entertaining format for classroom settings. These films may be of interest to NGOs (carrying out development work in Africa) or for any university, or African studies center worldwide.
