"Quiet Storm" is a film celebrating the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) in South and North East Asia. The film aims to pay tribute to the "indomitable will of millions of people living with HIV/AIDS, who fight stigma and discrimination on their own terms and lead the campaign against the HIV/AIDS epidemic from the forefront."

The film has been produced by UNDP Regional HIV and Development Programme for South and North East Asia, in partnership with the Asia Pacific Network of PLWHA (APN+) and Indian Network for PLWHA (INP+), as an advocacy tool for issues faced by PLWHA in the region. It is the movie version of a photographic book with the same title released last year.

The "Quiet Storm" film is available in English, Bahasa, Hindi, Chinese, Khmer, Korean, Mongolian, Nepali, Thai, Japanese and Urdu. Bangla and Vietnamese versions will be released shortly. In addition, an original Chinese version, featuring people living with HIV/AIDS in China, is also available.

As of October 11 2004, the film must be downloaded in order to be viewed; the movie is in Flash format and is approximately 21 MB.
