HIV/AIDS NGO/CBO Support Toolkit - CD-ROM

Summary

This toolkit consists of a website and CD-Rom with over 500 downloadable resources and supporting information. The toolkit includes practical information, tools and example documents to help those working to establish or improve non-governmental organisation (NGO) / community-based organisation (CBO) support programmes. It describes key components of NGO/CBO support programming, based on the Alliance's experience. It also includes resources from a wide range of other organisations to bring different perspectives and experiences together.

The toolkit was developed for those wanting to establish or improve NGO/CBO support programmes. It is meant to be useful both for NGO-led support programmes and for government-led or multi-sectoral programmes, especially in the context of Global Fund and World Bank financing for NGOs and CBOs working on AIDS. The toolkit may also be useful to organisations which provide only funding or only training.

The toolkit aims to share experience from a range of organisations, and to evolve over time as more resources and lessons emerge. If you have any input, feedback or resources that you would like to contribute to the toolkit, your ideas are welcome.
