Feeling Yes/Feeling No - a video for children of Southern Africa

Summary

A video which aims to equip children of Southern Africa with vital life skills. This video is aimed at teaching children of primary school age and is comprised of four parts:
Part 1 - Feelings: teaches us about YES and NO feelings andencourages children to say NO if the feeling experienced is a NO feeling. Children are also encouraged to share their feelings with someone they trust.
Part 2 - Can I trust a stranger: deals with sexual assault and teaches the child ways to avoid situations by using the three "stranger" questions.
Part 3 - Abuse by a trusted person: deals with this very painful situation. The child is encouraged to be assertive and to tell someone he/she trusts of the abuse.
Part 4 - HIV/AIDS and feelings: looks at ways of contracting HIV and supporting those who have been effected by the disease in one way or another.
This video is acted out by 3 local Namibian actors and is part of a continuing "live" program that aims to cover schools throughout Namibia over the next 2 years.
