Society for Social Welfare, Agriculture and Rural Development (SSWARD)

Summary

SSWARD is an "All India Voluntary Organization" formed by development practitioners, agriculturists, and social workers. It works to connect Indians living in poverty (and plagued by illiteracy, hunger, ill health, and inequality) with the organisations that can help them. HIV/AIDS is a special focus of SSWARD's activities; the organisation also offers small grants to other NGOs.
