Communication and Social Change (CSC) Award, TheRegionGlobal Deadline DateNovember 1 2007 The Communication and Social Change (CSC) Award is an annual award given to an individual or organisation for contributions to the theory and/or practice of communication for social change. For 2007, the amount of the award is US$2,500. Major theoretical contributions, and applied communication practices that are illustrative of frontline change and long-term sustainable development will be considered for this award.

The nomination for this annual award will be made by the jury (consisting of staff from the School of Journalism and Communication at the University of Queensland in Australia as well as eminent scholars in the field). While nominations can be submitted by individuals and organisations outside the School of Journalism and Communication, the final decision on the award of the grant will be taken by the Executive Board of the CSC Award.
