Vodacom Women in The Media AwardsCountrySouth Africa RegionAfrica Deadline DateMay 11 2007 The 2007 Vodacom Women in The Media Award is calling for nominations. The award recognises the achievements of South African women in the media sector and will be awarded to young women under the age of 30 whose voices have brought depth and substance to the dialogues that occur across print, electronic and online media platforms. Vodacom is sponsoring the event for the first time and sees the Women in The Media Award as “an ideal platform to acknowledge the role these women play in informing society”. Application InformationNominations for the award must consist of a brief CV listing current contact details and a 500-word long motivation letter which includes the milestones achieved by the individual in the last 12 months.
