The World Lung Foundation is seeking new photographs for its Lung Health Image Library (LHIL), a collection of several thousand photographs related to lung health worldwide.
Photographers are invited to submit photographs related to tuberculosis, asthma, tobacco, or child lung health. The four winners will each receive a Canon digital camera. The winners will be announced at the 38th Union World Conference on Lung Health in November 2008, in Capetown, South Africa, and posted on the LHIL web site.

Any individual or organisation, with the exception of contest judges, is welcome to participate. Submissions from all over the world are welcome. No entry fee required.

Images may be submitted in 4 categories: asthma, tobacco, tuberculosis, and child lung health. Contestants may submit more than one photo.

Please send photos in JPEG format. For photos not exceeding 4 MB, send the file in zipped format as an attachment to imagelibrary@worldlungfoundation.org For photos exceeding 4 MB, send the file on a CD-ROM to:
