WACC Photo Competition 2007 - Communication for Peace

Organised by the World Association for Christian Communication (WACC), the theme of this annual photography competition is 'Communication for Peace'. WACC is looking for visual interpretations of this theme.



Judges will select one overall winner and five highly commended photographers. The prizes will be: 1st prize: US$500, and commendations: US$200 each. A selection of entries
will be exhibited in Toronto, Canada, and will be used in WACC publications, such as the website and the journal "Media Development".



Eligibility



The competition is open to men, women and children, of all ages and from all countries. Entries from amateurs and professionals are welcome. Each entrant may submit up to 10 photographs, but no entrant may win more than one prize in the contest.


The deadline for application is May 31 2007.

Application information: Entries may be submitted through the web-based service Flickr. Images must be loaded to the Flickr group website available by clicking here. This site also includes information on the competition in both English and Spanish.
