Offered by the Pan American Health and Education Foundation (PAHEF), the Clarence H. Moore Award for Voluntary Service is meant to recognise the benefits that the voluntary/non-governmental organisation (NGO) sector contributes to the public health mission and to improving the lives of the peoples of the Americas. This award aims to call attention to the achievements of NGOs operating in Latin America and the Caribbean in public health, and celebrates these achievements. Award winners will receive a certificate of merit and a US$2,500 cash prize.

Applicationinfo: 

Organisations may be nominated by submitting a one-page letter of introduction and a completed application form to the Clarence H. Moore Award Jury. Organisations may nominate themselves, but it is recommended that under these circumstances a third party letter of support be included with the package. Applications and letters must be written in English or Spanish. All applications must be signed, and electronically submitted applications must have an electronic signature to be considered.


Nominations must be received no later than August 13 2007.
