Abraham Horwitz Award for Leadership in Inter-American HealthRegionGlobal, Latin America, North America Deadline DateApril 20 2007 The Abraham Horwitz Award recognises committed leaders and their contributions to public health resulting in region-wide improvements in the lives of the peoples of the Americas. In addition to the recognition of professional accomplishments, the award aims to call attention to health concerns throughout the hemisphere, and is intended to inspire continuing achievements in region-wide health by professionals. Application InformationTo make a nomination, submit and address a letter of introduction signed by the nominator, and a letter of support (no longer than one page each) both on official letterhead and a completed nomination form to the Abraham Horwitz Award Jury.
