The European Commission invites journalists working in television, radio, print, and online journalism to submit entries for the Lorenzo Natali Prize. The prize is awarded in partnership with Reporters Without Borders and the World Association of Newspapers to journalists who have demonstrated a commitment to human rights, democracy, and development. The organisers recognise these works as vital elements of economic and social development in developing countries. Journalists are eligible in each of the following five regions:
The winners will receive their prizes at a special award ceremony.
