For media producers in developing countries...
The Radio Nederland Training Centre (RNTC) is calling for proposals from media professionals in developing countries. RNTC will provide financial support to a limited number of productions for television, radio and the internet. Proposals should be for a television or radio programme or a website focusing on issues to do with development and/or education and should be original. A jury will select two television proposals, two radio proposals and one internet proposal to receive support. Preference will be given to proposals from RNTC alumni (former course participants). Please note that the jury will not accept proposals that were submitted last year.
Successful proposals will be awarded a budget to realise the programme or website. The proposals should include guarantees that the programme will be broadcast and the website published. The awards will be for a maximum of EUR 6.000 for a television programme, EUR 3.000 for a radio programme and EUR 4.500 for a website. Proposals with higher budgets may be submitted but should include guarantees from another financial source for the additional costs involved.
