OneWorldTV & Staying Alive HIV/AIDS PSA Competition 2005

Region

Global

Deadline Date

December 1 2005

Sponsored by OneWorldTV and MTV's Staying Alive Campaign, this award will honour youth-created Public Service Announcements (PSAs) on the subject of HIV/AIDS and addressing one or more issue surrounding the pandemic.

Interested 15-25 year olds are asked to produce and submit a 30- to 60-second second PSA to inform, inspire and motivate
people, particularly youth, on the issue of HIV and AIDS. Public Service Announcements should provide clear information about the issue whilst simultaneously captivating the audience and inspiring them to act.
Participants are asked to be creative, well informed and passionate about bringing the issue of HIV/AIDS to the public's attention in new and engaging ways.

The winning PSA will be showcased on the Staying Alive website and the OneWorldTV open documentary platform.
The organisers also state that the winning PSA may be broadcast on one or more of MTV's television channels. All eligible video entries received will be showcased on the OneWorldTV open documentary platform.
