Annual Excellence in Urban Journalism AwardRegionGlobal, North America Deadline DateJune 1 2005 Presented in partnership with The Freedom Forum, the Annual Excellence in Urban Journalism Award encourages and recognises quality reporting on major issues facing United States urban populations, particularly inner cities. Topics may include, but are not limited to housing, public safety, community development, child care, employment and transportation. Ideally, entries focus on impact and outcomes. Supporting evidence of the effectiveness of the item, such as letters, editorials, etc., are welcomed. Applications are due by June 1 2005.
