Programme Summary

Africa Regional Sexuality Resource Center (ARSRC) is a project aimed at giving visibility, depth and legitimacy to the field of sexuality in Africa. • convening an international working group on sexuality and social policy that will work to stimulate global policy debate related to sexuality, sexual health and sexual rights and to promote interfacing between key actors and social movements, and
  • establishing a regional sexuality resource centres located in the four regions: Africa, Asia, Latin America and North America, to work on sexuality research and advocacy aimed at strengthening national and regional efforts.

The ARSRC activities include providing:

  • financial support to its participants
  • information technology equipment and support as well as databases housed within the Africa Regional Sexuality Resource Centre
  • opportunities for the exchange of experiences and ideas from the “best minds” in the field
  • opportunities for networking and development of beneficial professional linkages in the field of sexuality.
