One World Media Awards 2005RegionGlobal, Western Europe Deadline DateMarch 21 2005 Administered by One World Broadcasting Trust (OWBT), these awards aim to recognise news coverage that reflects the social, political and cultural life of people in the wider world. It exists to support those who use the media to offer a critical voice, and to bring home the realities of this world to audiences and readerships in the United Kingdom. All entries should be concerned with social, political or cultural aspects of the developing world - Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, Latin America, the Middle East or the former Soviet Union.
