Observers assessed the appropriateness, methodology, effectiveness of style and technical aspects of the material that was reaching children.

The program fits well with reforms which are taking place to Bolivia's education system. It highlights multi-lingual and multi-ethnic groups through songs, games, and characters from all over Bolivia. 19,111 third grade students in were exposed to Bolivia's "Cuidemos Nuestra Salud" in 1992 as a pilot project to teach schoolchildren. The program grew very rapidly and by 1995 was being taught to grades 3 through 5. Teacher training is provided.
