SAKS contributes to educating, assessing, and expanding knowledge on topics including health, hygiene, agriculture, and medicine; it is also an instrument to raise awareness about human rights, civic responsibility, and women's rights. It also acts as a communication tool in a country where telephones are very limited. SAKS works to create a network with stations in developing countries in order to motivate the exchange of ideas and experiences.
