Programme Summary

Formerly AHRTAG (Appropriate Health Resources and Technologies Action Group), Healthlink Worldwide, in conjunction with partner organisations, runs specialist programmes in response to particular needs in primary health care. Healthlink Worldwide also produces practical publications for health and development workers. The resource center holds the UK's largest collection of materials focusing on the practical aspects of primary health care and rehabilitation in developing countries.

Communication Strategies

4 distinct programmes: AIDS and Sexual Health , Child Health Programme, Disability Programme, and Middle East Programme. All work to provide an information and enquiry service supported by Healthlink's resource centre collection of health learning materials. A variety of publications support these programs as well, including the newsletters AIDS Action, Child Health Dialogue and CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) News. Healthlink also works with partner organisations to provide training in information management and dissemination.
