Event summary

Held at the University of Hyderabad and organised by the Centre for Media Studies (CMS) in collaboration with the SN School of Performing Arts, Fine Arts and Communication; the symposia will be a platform for scholars, practitioners and policy makers from across the globe to discuss, debate and share experiences related to communication for social development.

The symposia will host plenary sessions, paper presentations, workshops and exhibitions to bring forward various issues related to communication for Social Development like its role in areas such as Sustainable Development, Health, Governance, Human Rights and Education. It will also discuss various approaches to development communication along with a discussion on contemporary issues such as issues of access, copyright, issues of implementation, evaluation, scale-up, accountability, public-private partnership, etc.
