Event summary

This will be an annual event that brings young people of 35 years and under to showcase to the world what they can do. The proposed forum seeks to create a platform for the youth to network and build partnerships amongst themselves. It will also provide an opportunity for the youth to share experiences lessons learnt best/promising practices and challenges from the different sector(s) they are engaged in towards hastening the realisation of Millenium Development Goals 2015 (MDG 2015).

Specific objectives:

  • To showcase their activities through seminars, presentations, and exhibitions.
  • To network and build partnerships.
  • To work together for greater impact.
  • To share experience and know how.

What the event intends to achieve:

  • Strengthen the relationship between the youth in different regions
  • Enhanced collaboration and partnership between civil society, private sector and the government for a common goal - service to the youth
  • Ensure effective delivery of services through collaborating and networking.
  • Create an enabling environment for best practices

Main goal: To build the capacity of youth and facilitate the process where undiscovered potential can be utilised to ensure continuous growth of the youth in all aspects.

All registrations can be done online or if you have limited access to internet, you can download the form (available in a Word document - forms can be dowloaded filled either manually (to be sent by fax or post) or electronically (as email attachment).

I was very interesting when I was reading this page. I realised that African Youth is able to organize itself and bring a change. I particularly thank the conceptors of such project.
