At this conference, representatives of intergovernmental
and media organisations, researchers, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and donor institutions will outline possible "tools" for rapid actions and coordinated strategies in peace building and conflict prevention. The exchange of experience will lead to a sustainable
process which, among other things, will be continued
with the Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum in 2008.

The conference is a senior working conference limited to 100 participants. Registration is required by all participants.

Participation in the conference is free of charge. Lunches will be served during the conference on the courtesy of the conference hosts. The participants themselves must pay travel, accommodation and other meals and are responsible for arranging their accommodation and travel to the venue.
