New Delhi, India

Organised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in collaboration with PLAN International and CARE India, this interactive exhibition will focus on innovations and low cost technology for community radio. The exhibition will display community broadcasting systems and low-cost equipment such as the radio in a box and lamp radio, along with a host of reasonably priced, creatively designed, hardy radio equipment suitable for the Indian environment.

There will also be a forum entitled "Community Radio: Innovation, Low Cost
Solutions and Access" on February 2 2007. The forum will provide a platform for community radio experts and technicians from India and South Asia to present their views and technological solutions for the development of communities. The forum will be held from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
