SANGONeT is hosting the fifth regional Thetha forum which aims to provide non-profit organisations (NGOs) in Angola with the opportunity to discuss information and communication technology (ICT) and the challenges facing the NGO sector.

The forum aims to highlight ICT policy issues, promote practical benefits of ICTs as well as practical applications, opportunities and lessons learned. The forum forms part of SANGONeT's broader objective to increase the use and awareness of ICTs within the NGO sector in Southern Africa.

The programme includes the following:

  • ICT Policy - National Perspectives
  • Open Source - Opportunities for Civil Society
  • ICTs in Civil Society - Opportunities and Challenges in Luanda
  • Knowledge Management in Civil Society - Access to Knowledge and Creative in ICTs
