Toolbox for Effective Environmental Regulation and Protection (Apr 16 - May 4 2007)

Location

Norwich, United Kingdom

Event summary

This short course provides both theoretical background and 'hands on' understanding of the tools, techniques, procedures and policy models available to move towards increasingly sustainable development.

It is targeted towards practitioners and policy makers within both governmental and non-governmental organisations from developing and transitional economies and at those working with them as development partners or external support organisations.

Whilst this is the core audience, other professionals who need to be able to assess, prevent, control, minimise and monitor the environmental impacts of developments, from initial planning through development to the operational phases of projects or programmes will benefit.
