In order to avoid general rejection of development cooperation it is important to recognise and present the opportunities and limitations down-to-earth. In the conference experienced practitioners will present different approaches to development cooperation and show strengthes and weaknesses. We will discuss, what can be achieved by development cooperation and where others have to act (governments of developing countries, ministries of foreign affairs and trade of the OECD-states).
