At my current internship at Vital Voices Global Partnership, I research and author reports on women’s political participation and gender-based violence in Sub-Saharan Africa. I also monitor and evaluate grant performances and have formalized the reporting indicators for a women’s entrepreneurs program. Furthermore, for an advocacy project in Africa, I assessed the project risks, estimated the budget and helped draft the project charter.
I have an in-depth knowledge of development issues, I am able to communicate key messages effectively, and advocate policy issues or research findings. In addition, I have a strong background in qualitative (focus group, content analysis, etc.) and quantitative (advanced statistics and network analysis) research. My organizational skills are demonstrated by my job as Events Logistics Coordinator at Georgetown University, where I organize academic and social events and lead a team of 4 people.
