Enjoying a dual citizenship (French and Algerian), I lived in Algeria for 20 years then I moved to France. During my bachelor programme, I spent one year in England where I joined the University of Birmingham to study European Politics and Economics. I am graduated from Sciences Po Aix-en-Provence (Institute of Political Sciences) and have a Master’s degree in Foreign Affairs and International Relations. I have been working at ANIMA Investment Network (based in France) since 2011 on innovation support organisations/spaces, entrepreneurship and foreign direct investment.
As a project manager I am in charge of coordinating development projects in all their phases i.e. from the strategy conception to the implementation then reporting and evaluation of the project results and deliverables. This entails identifying external financial resources, researching and analysing information and data in a specific topic related to the project strategy, writing proposals to address a specific issue with an action plan, mobilising and animating a group of stakeholders and project partners, implementing the project activities, managing the project’s budget and the report of expenditures, ensuring the promotion and communication of the project results among the targeted groups, capitalising on the results to ensure the follow-up of the work initiated. The projects I manage are all dedicated to the development of the Southern Mediterranean Countries (MENA region) and the promotion of the economic partnership and international cooperation between EU countries and MENA countries. The topics I work on are mainly innovation (start-ups growth, clusters and best practices) and creative and cultural industries (as a mean for economic development and international dialogue, entrepreneurship).
