Communications Science graduate with a BA Coprporate Communications and Communications Theory Honours from the University of Johannesburg. His research interests: Computer-Mediated Communication and digital divide effects in African small businesses and NGOs. Also interested in the challenges of rural high school education.
During university days, I served as a Provincial Project Manager in The Collective Genius, a management agency that conceptualized and facilitated CSI projects for South African Companies and government. In the CSI programmes, Tleane focused on high school public speaking contests for Anglo American, Sowetan, SAASTA and MTN Foundation, crafting public speaking capacity in young public speakers.
Currently, I work with the German Development Coorperation doing communications and knowledge management work.
