Deepali Sharma is AAUW (American Association of University Women) fellow at Ohio University. With over 7 years of rich experience in conceptualizing, executing and managing social development and health programs in Asia and Africa, Deepali has expertise in participatory intervention design, capacity building and social and behavior change communication. Prior to coming back to Ohio University, Deepali worked in Northern Nigeria as a CDC's STOP Communication Consultant for EPI program and supported UNICEF's Polio Eradication Program in Kano, Kaduna, Katsina and Sokoto states where she led the social mobilization and communication efforts. Deepali is a trained Communication for Development Specialist with exceptional people management and negotiation skills. An excellent team player, She has worked with multi-cultural teams and governments at all levels and delivered results at scale in India, Cambodia, Ethiopia, and Nigeria. She currently lives in Athens, Ohio, U.S.A.
