I currently work at Johnson&Johnson Global Public Health. I recently wrote a book published by Oxford University Press called Denying to the Grave: Why We Ignore the Facts That Will Save Us, which examines the reasons why people fail to accept scientific/medical fact (e.g. the psychological forces behind vaccine hesitancy, etc.). The book and the subsequent organization I founded based on it (called Critica) also examines ways to improve public trust in science and medicine and how to respond to hesitancy and doubt around established medical interventions such as vaccines. I am always interested in hearing from researchers and practitioners involved with communication of science and public health issues to broad public audiences.
