The Nesoi Foundation is a non-profit organization established exclusively for the purpose of furthering research and knowledge of environmental, educational and cultural heritage management in the Caribbean. Nesoi is dedicated to the identification and conservation of cultural and natural resources throughout the Caribbean by the establishment of proactive networks between stakeholders and professionals in numerous scientific disciplines.
We believe in taking a holistic approach to every project. By blending together the needs of various stakeholders (the local community, researcher, developer, government, interest groups, and individuals), we assure that our projects are comprehensively and creatively designed. Preserving and protecting natural and cultural heritage resources is our primary goal. We achieve this by producing recordings and reports of the highest quality, archiving and publishing results for a wider audience, while meeting project deadlines via a cost-effective strategy and in full compliance with all laws and regulations. Our holistic project structure ensures meaningful public outreach, enhanced educational opportunities, and increased capacity-building in the local community.
Consultancy Teams The Nesoi Foundation has assembled a top-notch team of experts in numerous scientific disciplines to offer consultancy services in a wide variety of situations that frequently confront small islands. These teams focus on investigating and resolving environmental and cultural issues and instead of working in relative secrecy, our teams make a point of involving all possible local stakeholders and community members in the decision making processes
