Nelson has six years experience in development reporting and advocacy and served as an editorial member of the Northern Network for Education Development (NNED) and remains committed to ensuring that the MDGs become a reality. He has spoken at International conferences such as Youth Media Development Forum YMDF’06 in Bamako, Mali hosted by Plan International. He participated in the 5th World Summit on Media for Children in Johannesburg, South Africa under UNICEF/CBFA ticket. He has received training from the BBC World Service, Technoserve/NFTE in Youth Entrepreneurship Development, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Radio Netherlands Training Centre, in Hilversum among others. As an Assistant Team Leader in charge of news and development projects at Diamond FM, Mr. Nyadror's handles community relation programs like “it could be you” an HIV/Aids project under the Ghana Aids Commission. then again, a Business sector Support Advocacy Fund BUSAC Fund under DANIDA, USAID and DfID under the theme “removing socio-cultural barriers to entrepreneurship among northern women” and a project to end child trafficking and exploitative labour in Tamale, Ghana with support from the Chocolonely Foundation in the Netherlands. Much as a privilege, the BBC Africa Service has aired two of his exclusive stories, one on “Livelihood and Educational challenges among peasant households in the north” as the MDGs’ set period of 2015 draws closer. Nelson enjoys working around rights and policy issues and continues an engagement with policy makers, civil society groups and the voiceless majority. A firm believer in team spirit, he is leaving “no stone unturned” by helping shape society towards a world without poverty!
