I hold a Masters of Arts Degree in Population Studies University of Nairobi and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Economics and Sociology from Egerton University. Together with 5 others founded Imarisha CBO in 2012 and serves as Secretary to the board/Executive Director which was registered as a community based organisation on 14th January 2015. Imarisha CBO was founded as a platform for accelerating adoption of innovative approaches and practices for sustainable development. Previously, I have been engaged as a consultant for different other partners in different thematic areas like in capacity assessment and capacity building, policies development and review, citizens engagement and participation amongst others. In year 2010 to 2013, I was working as a Programs Manager for an NGO in Kenya where I designed successful projects in Governance, Climate Change, Environment and Natural Resources Management including food security projects. I possesses invaluable experiences gained for over 12 years of progressive work in programme development, strategic planning and management, policy influencing, hands on implementation and management of various community development programmes mainly focusing on HIV/AIDS, human rights, health, governance, climate change, environment and natural resources management, youth and women social-economic empowerment with various organizations in Kenya.
