I am a medical laboratory scientist with experience in the area of virology more specifically those relating to communicable and vaccine preventable diseases. My second and more recent area of experience is epidemiology after attaining a masters of science degreee in epidemiology. I am currently a PhD in public health candidate with the copperbelt university in Zambia.
My expertise and interest lies in research and publications. I have published over 25 articles in the last three years or so and a book (Arboviruses - a public health experience in Zambia). I am currently working on another book looking at various publications on suicidal ideation, while we have in press anothe book on smoking and adolescents. Though my work experience is mostly in Virology, I do publish and reveiw other subject areas. I am editorial reveiwer on some journals.
Aside my professional work i a volunteer in various organisations including Ladies Circle (a charitable organisation) holding various posts including national presifent and currently I am the Board chairperson on the board of directors for Kamanga community based TB organiation community school. I enjoy socialising and so joining this forum will probably help me in improving my communiction skills as I hold various posts and teavh the undergraduate fraternity at some medical schools.
