We have spent the last 8 years working with the health communities around Nicaragua. We currently work in the Trauma hospital in Managua and some of the local public hospitals to raise the standard and quality of care. Because of our sustainability in this country we have been given an acre of land to develop a health clinic focussing on breast health, nutrition, chronic diseases, behavioral diseases, and people with disablities.
After spending much time in this country assessing and reassessing we have an approach that will be new, innovative and a big change in their health care delivery and in the health of the indigenous people of this country as well to all those who participate. It doesn't reguire much funding yearly but what we are really needing is the seed money to build the projects.
The cost of utilizing all the land for our work is estimated $700,000.00.
