I am currently working in the United Nations FAO Investment Centre (TCI) in the team of Communication, knowledge and Information Management. My tasks relies on the management of the new website - which will be launched in the next weeks – ; relations with focal points regarding TCI publications; event organization; administration and implementation of internal surveys and reports; preparation of Investment Centre Seminars, contents and graphic support.
I used to work in communication for the FAO Food Security and Nutrition Forum, where I managed the Workshop “FSN Forum policy dialogues: contributing to food security and nutrition policy processes at country and regional level” which took place in FAO HQ the past 10th and 11th December with the FAORAF and MoA from ECA Regions. I collaborated in the organization and execution of Webinars; background research on the topics discussed in the Food Security and Nutrition Forum, the management of newsletters and mailing lists, drafting of discussion summaries and reports.
I has just graduated from the Master Human Development and Food Security at the Roma Tre University. With the supervision of the high level expert Nora Mc Keon, I have been working on a thesis about Food Policies to promote smallholder farmers networks and the role of civil society to achieve public policies in a human right approach.
My academic background is in Business Administration and Management and then in Marketing Management.
I gained experience between London (Google Campus) and Rome in commercial entrepreneurs as Marketing and Communication Intern. My duties where the management of an on-line plat form and communication through social media accounts - Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Google Analytics.
I worked as volunteer in the field, specifically in a small village of Mozambique not far from Maputo, where I realized a communication project to fund raise.
My passion lies in Communication for Food Security and Rural Development, and I am writing a PhD proposal focused on the use of Participatory videos and farmers online networks for knowledge sharing in Africa and Latin America.
