I have an MA in Public Relations and another in Strategic Studies and Conflict Resolution (with focus on cyber criminality), plus a BSc in Journalism from the University of Yaounde II in Cameroon. I work for the Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC) as Communication and Public Relations Manager and I also have a good ability to use English, French and West African Pidgin. Before now, I worked for Cameroon’s Ministry of Communication, L’Action newspaper and Summit Magazine.
At the International level, I am one of the Cameroonian Correspondents for African Independent (South African weekly newspaper). I have also served as Cameroonian correspondent for e-News Africa (a South African Tv channel), guest writer for NEPAD’s website, contributor for Power FM (South Africa) and volunteer reporter for www.africafiles.org (Canada).
With a wide experience in print and broadcast journalism, public relations, corporate communication, lobbying, public speaking and "spokesmanship", my competencies include: planning, teamwork, bilingualism (English and French), influencing and coaching.
My operational skills include: communication, reputation management, report/speech writing, news/feature writing, script editing, media relations, advocacy, event planning and conception of easy-to-understand infographics. This experience has taken me for various working missions in and out of Cameroon.
My goal is to contribute in Africa’s development and world peace by promoting a new narrative aimed at developing Africa and empowering the weak.
