I have extensive experience in communications, and project management in public health, social protection, strategic partnership building, advocacy and public relations. I received my BSc degree in Zoology at the University of Eastern Africa Baraton, Kenya; Post-graduate Specialization degree in Hospital and Health Systems Administration from Faculdades dos Oswaldo Cruz, Sao Paulo, Brazil and his MSc in Health Promotion and Public Health from Brunel University in London, UK
At my workplace, I am responsible for managing strategic partnerships with the host government, network membership and with regional and international partner organisations. I play a key role in aggregating, packaging, and tailoring information gathered from FANRPAN’s various projects and programmes and disseminating it to stakeholders for the purposes of convening actors for partnership, and ensuring that challenging communication and advocacy targets are met as well as market organisation’s work to effectively reach target audiences and create new opportunities for partnerships and growth.
I have designed communication strategies, tailored service delivery, led on advocacy campaigns and coordinated large-scale communication initiatives. I have worked in a wide range of communication services, such as media relations, campaign development, corporate communication and graphic design.
