InterMedia Research and Consulting Europe is a Charity based in London. We provide insights-driven research in developing countries. Our mission is to deliver research and advice to foundations, bi-lateral and multi-lateral agencies and organisations committed to freedom of expression, the power of an informed citizenry, and the liberating potential of media and technology. We conduct applied research, technical training and knowledge sharing workshops globally.
InterMedia Research and Consulting Europe was established by InterMedia, a US nonprofit, to provide governments and international development NGOs in Europe and beyond with cutting-edge consulting and analytical services. We offer practical insights on how people gather, produce, share and use information from all sources, both online and offline. We equip clients to understand, communicate and engage effectively with people worldwide – especially in challenging locations. InterMedia in London also collaborates with affiliated InterMedia Group locations in Washington, DC and Nairobi, Kenya. In 2010, InterMedia created AudienceScapes (www.audiencescapes.org), an integrated online research-based knowledge centre for the international development community, focusing on media and communications and their impact on development.
