Josh Greenberg (PhD) is Director of the School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. His expertise is in health risk communication, crisis communication, media coverage of disease outbreaks, and public consultation and engagement. He has published numerous articles on these and related topics. Currently, he is working on a project examining the 'wicked' communication problems associated with vaccine hesitancy. Dr. Greenberg has worked in a consultancy capacity with public health organizations at the local, national, and pan-national levels on developing effective, evidence-based approaches to risk communication.
