I have been in the development field specially Social Sector(education, health ,water and sanitation and environment) for more then 13 years with extensive experience in Project /Programme Management ,Professional Development of teachers/ Teacher's/community members/ Training for educationists like teachers, head teachers, Faculty members of universities, community school teachers,SMCs /PTAs etc , TOTs , Education Management & Governance, Programme Implementation, Child Rights & Child protection, School Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, mentoring ,community based research, relief/emergency work and technical assistance to teachers and Teaching from Montessori/ Nursery to primary/grade 8th with a focus on subjects like Languages, Maths, Science ,Social studies etc I have been working with top NGOs and schools (national and International). 5 year with Children’s Global Network (CGN) known as CRI funded by USAID and almost 4 years with DFID funded organizations like Rural Support Programme Network (RSPN) and National Rural Support Programme Network (NRSP), in the capacity of Programme Officer education/Education Specialist and Master Educator/Teacher’s Trainer I have a rich experience in Social Sector along with assignments on health, Child rights etc starting from: Rural Support Programme Network; RSPN funded by DFID, as Program Officer - Education. My key responsibilities: Representation, Networking, Advocacy • Establish and maintain effective working relationship with relevant government ministries, district/local governments, NGOs, UN agencies and other partners for programmed development and policy relevant research • Establish partnerships, locally, nationally and internationally with collaborating institutions for technical assistance, training and research • Liaise closely with the Social Sector Specialist and Policy Advocacy unit at RSPN in developing and implementing effective advocacy strategies (seminars, workshops, symposiums etc.) especially advocating for uptake of current cutting edge programmed learning • Advice Social Sector Specialist on policy, advocacy and programmed matters related to education, health and environment sector specially CLTS approach and Teachers Trainings. • Help link RSPs social sector to RSPN by keeping RSP staff informed of key directions, strategies and policies related to the sector. Represent RSPs concern and successes to RSPN, working through appropriate channels such as the CEOs/GMs and the social sector managers Documentation, Reporting, Monitoring and Evaluation • Promote effective programmed learning and help to ensure that lessons are learned, challenges and progress are disseminated to appropriate audiences both within and outside the network • Liaise closely with M & E Specialist RSPN to ensure implementation of effective monitoring and evaluation procedures in social sector programmers, promoting transparency, accountability and measurable impact throughout all RSPs social sector activities • Ensure timely submission of high quality reports, NFRs etc Before this, I was working for Children’s Resources International; Pakistan (Guarantee) Limited (CRI) now known as Children’s Global Network (CGN), a USAID funded educational NGO with expertise in ECD, as a Senior Master Teacher Trainer. I have done course on Early Childhood Education from Washington DC, USA. In CGN I was responsible for all Educational Trainings (Teachers,Govt Officials, Faculty Members, Community members, Special Education, Ngos staff,etc),Coordination and Facilitation of Training Workshops and related material, delivering School Supplies in bulk to hundreds of CRI partner schools, Technical Assistance visits to schools and its scheduling and Mentoring, conducting sessions on various subjects emphasizing latest teaching techniques, Correspondence with government officials, developing guides and manuals, documentation and reporting. I have trained more then 1000 teachers of Federal Directorate of Education, District Education department Rawalpindi, Balakot etc from grade KG to grade Vth. I have also worked with National Rural Support Programme (NRSP) Islamabad, as PO Education ,Social Sector .My Key responsibilities were Writing Regular Program Reports including monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual reports, Overall Monitoring and Evaluation of Social Sector Services i.e. Education, Health, Sanitation and Drinking Water, Extensive field visits of Community Schools established by NRSP in Five Regions of Pakistan, Rawalakot, Rawalpindi / Islamabad, Khushab, Badin and D.G. Khan. The schools are established in very Remote Areas of these Regions, Correspondence with Foreign Donor Agencies, Multinational Firms and Public / Private Sector within the country, Overall Financial Assessment for Education Sector, Organizing Trainings Workshops for People and Professionals related to Schools like Teachers, Parents, Village Education Committees, and Government Education Officials etc.,Guiding Teachers about New Teaching Methodologies and Techniques, Capacity Building of Teachers and Parents, Mobilizing the Communities by Creating Awareness about Education, Health, Sanitation and Drinking Water Issues and Administrating the activities. From time to time, I have traveled extensively in remote areas of Pakistan like Quetta, Balakot, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Bagh, Bannu, Mansehra, Skardu,Marcha, Gigit and Mithi etc. to perform job related assignments like community mobilization, capacity building of community and many other projects related to community development in education ,health and sanitation. Also, I have been a very active member during the earthquake relief exercises conducted by CRI. I also have good Analytical skills, the ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts, and make decisions that make sense based on available information. Such skills include demonstration of the ability to apply logical thinking to gathering and analyzing information, designing and testing solutions to problems, and formulating plans. That is why with a 13 years experience my field, I have always been very much involved in suggesting simple and effective ways to our Program Department for carrying out the complex tasks much effectively and quickly like coordinating workshops and trainings ,event management, resource utilization, tracking important officials, conducting translations of modules. Methodology books, handouts, questionnaires and possessing interpretations skills during trainings/ workshops with international resource persons etc. With my proven ability to coordinate and maintain the highest standards possible, I also make sure that the organizational policies of Teaching and Learning comply with the donor’s requirements. I have also worked with education departments at federal, provincial and district level in CRI, NRSP and RSPN and was able to maintain a good working relationship with them which eased my liaison and correspondence with them. I feel that I will be able to make a significant contribution in achieving your organizational goals with my professional approach and team building skills.
