I am an international strategic communications specialist. As president of Bigger Impact,I advise foundations, nonprofits and companies about the best strategies and actions for engaging target audiences, advancing ideas and building partnerships.
For organization leaders, Bigger Impact transforms your outreach into a carefully planned initiative that achieves organizational goals and expands impact. For program directors, we deploy communications as a vital tool for increasing the success of your projects.
Your mission affects lives – a true beacon of hope around the world. Yet without a strategic communications effort, your impact is obscured. From donors to public and private partners, recipients and policymakers, there is a complex array of stakeholders who want to support your work, but first they need to know how you’re making a difference and what distinguishes your organization from all others.
We elevate your communications strategy to the big picture where the nexus of your issues intersect. We create an actionable plan complete with measurable objectives, resources and realistic timelines. We identify and package the stories that illustrate your impact. We prioritize your investment in communication channels (digital, news media, social, conferences, special events) so that you maximize your reach with a customized approach for multiple audiences.
My capabilities include: communications assessment and strategic planning; storytelling for all media channels; branding; news media relations; digital strategy; comunications capacity building and the monitoring and evaluation of communications initiatives.
Since 2001, I have provided strategic solutions to complex communications challenges in international economic development, the environment and climate change, global health and water, sanitation and hygiene. My clients have included Catholic Relief Services Overseas Operations, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Niger Delta Partnership Initiative Foundation, U.S. Smart Grid Investment Grant Program and the Center for Clean Air Policy, to name a few.
