I am a graduate in Sociology and bring with me an extensive experience in fields of social sciences, communication, strategic planning, program management, advocacy, social marketing, operations research, budgeting and Monitoring and Evaluation culminating from ten years of progressive experience in East African countries. Specifically I have been involved in managing health programs such as reproductive health and HIV/AIDS, malaria, TB, neglected tropical diseases and water and sanitation programs. I bring with me knowledge and skills on program management, coordination, networking, facilitation and leadership skills. I also have a wide array of experience in the sphere of behavioural change communication programs, designing communication strategies and implementing multi-media communication programs and materials production (print, electronic and web based) for Reproductive Health, Family Planning, TB and Malaria programs. I have produced several press and public relations materials, production of radio spots, job aides, bill boards, calendars, newsletters and bulletins and documentary films. I have experience in developing communication and advocacy strategies at the regional and national levels on communicable diseases and public health issues.
