It’s mission is to serve the best interest of children and their environment so that both children and community grow together. There are seventeen Trustees (founding members) who are from diverse background, have volunteered to carry forward the mandate of the Trust. Our Vision Our vision is to bring a happy childhood for every child and a self-sustained and caring community. We believe that every child matters and every child has right to blissful childhood. We also trust that a strong community can not be ruled out. NGO-Partnerships FCC-India endorses the vision, mission, principles and goals enshrined in UNCRC and is committed to contributing to the partnership concept of Government-Civil Society partnership for working on all issues related to children and community. Children & Community We believe that community is important for children. Children need supportive parents, safe neighbourhoods, adult mentors, and caring teachers. Children need role models who will help them to develop a sense of civic and social responsibility. Early Childhood is the foundation for overall human development and role of community and civil society cannot be ignored. Towards this goal, we plan to execute several projects in communities through a strong volunteer network and partnership with NGOs and Government. Children are tireless in their pursuit of happiness but where do they find it nowadays. They are deprived from their mother’s womb and do not have many joyful memories by the time they become adult. They experience poverty and exclusion in a world fit for adults. We need to address those gaps for a brighter future for our children.
